Meet the Team
With more than 50 years’ experience in nonprofit event management, our team is uniquely skilled to handle any challenge. Many of us learned our ABC’s (always be calm) from St. Louis’ premier nonprofit planner – Susan Werremeyer. We also bring experiences and insight from working in-house at prominent local institutions including Grand Center, MICDS, Circus Flora, Washington University in St. Louis, Safe Connections, Grace Hill, St. Louis Jewish Community Center and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.
Jamie Vollmer, Owner
Jamie Vollmer began her career in communications working at Fleishman Hillard (FH). While at FH, she was given the opportunity to play a role in her first major event – Prince Andrew, the Duke of York’s, visit to Enterprise Rent-a-Car, an experience that solidified her desire to add event management to her growing skill set.
In 2006, she became a freelancer with Carlton Werremeyer (CW), a special events firm serving St. Louis’ premier nonprofits. This decade-long relationship provided an education in event management that uniquely positions Jamie as one of St. Louis’ most experienced nonprofit focused event planners. As a freelancer with CW, Jamie planned and managed events for Craft Alliance, Grace Hill, Grand Center, Great Rivers Greenway, Lambert St. Louis International Airport, St. Louis Children’s Hospital and Wyman.
In 2016, Jamie launched Events by Inspire combining her communications, development and event expertise to serve new and long-term clients. She was excited to bring many of her CW colleagues along for the transition. The firm’s current and past client list includes St. Louis Children’s Hospital, The Contemporary Art Museum, Wyman, Grace Hill, Meds and Food for Kids, Missouri Public Charter School Association, Arch Grants and De La Salle.
Jamie resides in the city with her husband, four-year-old son and 13-year-old rescue dog.
